Soon to Come...

Have you ever tried to take a digital photography class at a university or college, and they told you you must take a prerequisite photography course involving hours upon hours of darkroom drudgery?  Is this really necessary? Now don't go off answering that question too quickly.  You must understand that an understanding of how we got to where we are is very important, yet mostly useless for the vast majority of today's aspiring photographers.  Before you come up with a really well worded and educated argument for this stance on the subject, know that no matter how convincing, a vat of chemicals will never be justifiable to most. this is especially true when powerful editing tools (Adobe Photoshop) are available, and some (Open Office Draw) are even free.
Hopefully, through discussion, and sharing tips and tutorials that we have found useful, we can produce digital media that is just as impressive, and artistic as some of our favorite "legitimate" photography.
